The iconic Savile Row tailor, Huntsman, today unveils their new A/W 2021 collection. Luxury and versatility define this capsule collection of tailored separates and suiting, with an emphasis on technical fabrics and sustainable practises within menswear, to create a capsule wardrobe of timeless classics that combine performance and comfort with impeccable style. The collection is available online and in-store from September 2nd.
Cut, cloth and construction remain the ethos of Huntsman Ready To Wear collection. This collection focuses on embracing a post-pandemic world, with garments that are elegant and luxurious and designed to be seen out. This season, heritage tweed features alongside classic herringbone sport coats, and rich, sumptuous textures in corduroy trousers, cashmerillo shirts and merino knitwear. New styles of outerwear combine practicality and luxury with high-performance fabrics cut in classic silhouettes, and suiting and jackets which support sustainable practice, and are ideal for international business travel.
In an entirely new design for their Autumn Winter 2021 collection, Huntsman Creative Director Campbell Carey took inspiration from Huntsman’s popular raglan sleeve overcoat and classic mac and combined them with his own favourite vintage trench coat. The result, a striking blackwatch tartan raglan sleeve mac, made in the original and finest british Millerain waxed cotton, ensuring it is shower-proof, breathable and comfortable. In a further addition to Huntsman’s stylish performance outerwear, the Loro Piana Cashmere Storm System Overcoat takes the same block as Huntsman’s classic overcoat. This cloth is treated by impregnating the fibres to create a protective membrane, giving the wearer confidence to brave all weathers.
“This collection boasts versatility with luxury garments for both town and country, for formal and casual events. Having taken inspiration from our archives and reimagined them for today, each garment has been designed to become a wardrobe staple, to be enjoyed for years to come” said Campbell Carey, Huntsman Creative Director.
Back by popular demand, the Weekend Cut takes on another iteration in it’s third official season. A new style for Huntsman, defined by Campbell Carey, this cut of jacket is available in both bespoke commision and Ready To Wear. This season Huntsman introduces a signature inky grey ticking check cashmere jacket.
With an ethos of sustainable practices Huntsman has continued its work with escorial wool, and introduces a signature navy suit and herringbone jacket, both of which have full traceability, from sheep to shop. Escorial is a member of the The New Zealand Farm Assurance Program. This guarantees that a garment carrying the Escorial name is traceable to origin, and the wool is naturally grown and comes from a quality-controlled source of supply of integrity and provenance. Huntsman’s A/W21 Ready-To-Wear collection features elegant tailored separates and suiting designed to elevate your wardrobe for business, leisure and travel. The full collection will be available from September 2nd at huntsmansavilerow.com, and in store at No.11 Savile Row.
